You want your audience to find you no matter what, right?
Users are now turning to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to find inspiration when they're searching for things. This could be using 'Places' on Instagram to find what everyone is eating in the city, to using hashtags to find the BEST beauty parlour.
Make their lives easier by making sure your bio is easily searchable to take advantage and SHOW UP in their search as an account.
Here are my top tips in writing the perfect Instagram Bio.
If your Instagram is all about you then add it in the body of your bio however your 'Name' is a searchable keyword on Instagram. Use your best keyword that you think your audience would search when looking for you. Try and add a location as your audience will be searching for your service and a location, especially if that's where you're based.
You have 150 characters to convince the user to view more of your feed. I suggest putting everything about your business including your services/products and what your business is all about. Keep it clean and easy to ready by putting each sentence on a new line. Make it fun and interesting to view by adding relatable emojis, as you can see I offer digital services so I use the laptop and mobile emoji.
Call to Action
Add this at the end of your body of the text. Tell the user what you want them to do. A new blog post? Tell them to go view it. New product? Tell them to go buy it. I want the user to attend my Instagram Masterclass, so I have told them to go book themselves on it.
Add your website, location and the best way for your users to get in touch with me. I have selected the email option and added my email address.
